Sorting by Citation Count

Hey Guys-

I heard some people struggling with finding low citation count papers… here’s a mini pro tip about finding papers for your critique! You can filter Google Scholar search results by citation! Youll actually be sorting the papers that cited a different paper, but this is useful for you. First, find a paper that you think looks interesting with plenty of citations. Then, if you search for this paper on Google Scholar, you’ll see a “Cited by XXXX” underneath it. If you click on this, it’ll take you to a list of all the papers that cited the first one. This list will be sorted (roughly) by citation count, so scroll to the end to find low count papers.

Good luck!
