Home / COGS is moving back to Iona!

COGS is moving back to Iona!

The Cognitive Systems Program (offices, lab, and lounge) will return to the basement of the Iona Building (6000 Iona Drive) over reading break!

Please note that to accommodate the move, program offices, lab, and lounge (in both LIFE and IONA) will be closed February 20-23. Starting Monday February 24, 2025, COGS students will have access to the COGS space in Iona during regular weekday operating hours.

Term 2 COGS 300 students: all COGS 300 labs from February 24, 2025 onwards will be held in IONA B151.

To find the COGS area, enter Iona through the entrance on the left side of the building. Go downstairs using the elevator (directly ahead) or the stairwell (to the right). When you exit the elevator or stairwell in the basement, the door to your right (B150:1 in the map below) leads to the COGS area.

If you have any questions or concerns about the new COGS space, please reach out to cogs.advising@ubc.ca.
